This workshop is sponsored by The Women’s Information Network, Inc., and will feature a variety of health experts in the fields of urology, gynecology, pharmacology and physical therapy, We will address common genitourinary conditions. Troublesome bladder and sexual issues can cause anxiety, embarrassment or pain–yet remain unspoken. There are many new products and solutions available and our experts will present up to date information and treatment options in a comfortable setting that encourages dialogue between speakers and participants. With greater understanding, women can be better prepared to discuss to bring up their issues with their healthcare provider. Our goals for the program are: • To provide information about genitourinary changes associated with the postmenopausal state: prevalence, cause, symptoms, diagnostic testing, & treatment options. • To provide accurate information about beneficial vs unproven products and treatments currently available. • To provide information as well as opportunities for participants to ask questions. • To prepare participants to initiate dialogue with their health professional about their symptoms and initiate an individualized treatment plan
