a new day, a new united way

For 65 years, we have worked diligently to change the lives of people and families in Rome & Floyd County. We've only just begun. We are revolutionizing our approach for greater impact, recommitting to LIVE UNITED against our community’s most daunting social crisis by fighting for the education, health, and financial stability of every person in our community. We won’t wait for problems to land in our laps. Instead, we are digging for the challenges that need us most.

Forging partnerships with key stakeholders like local nonprofits, businesses, local government and volunteers, we are building solutions and focusing resources on collaboratively-defined priority needs in Rome & Floyd County that no one agency can take on alone. We are mobilizing our community to take action through advocacy, volunteering, and giving -- and we are ensuring the generosity of our donors effects maximum impact exactly where and when it is needed most.

Change is vital, needed, exciting -- and we intend to celebrate it with you every step of the way. We commit to transparency, community-mindedness, and collaboration in every facet of our work. Because we know what happens when people truly pull together. Lives are changed. Homes are saved. Education advances. Health improves. Hope rises.

This is not your traditional United Way. And we are Better, Stronger Together. Join us.

United We Fight. United We Win. LIVE UNITED.
